Passionate for plants..especially edible ones. Vegetable and herbs of all kinds find there way into my kitchen. The produce section, farmers market, is a world of color, shape, aroma and texture. Explore along with me as I experiment, ponder, taste and savor the foods of a vegetable lifestyle. I love having a herb and vegetable garden... and encourage anyone with a bit of land or a pot to try. Of course, these days you can't think of food or farming without considering being green or eco.

GMO-What will the impact be on global agriculture?

How will Organic farming compete with Genetically Modified (GMO) grown food?  By the time the impact is understood it maybe be to late. The long term affects could be devastating globally. How can organic farms not be "contaminated" by the spread of GM seeds?

Quote from Prince Charles
Organic farming has been shown to provide major benefits for wildlife and the wider environment. The best that can be said about genetically engineered crops is that they will now be monitored to see how much damage they cause.

What can the consumer do....buy organic....and GMO Free.

Don't let multinational companies decide for us.
Educate yourself and decide for you and your family. There is an argument pro and con.
